CBD is one of the hundreds of compounds extracted from the Cannabis plant. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive compound that causes intoxication when people use recreational Marijuana. There are two main variants of this plant, i.e., Hemp and Marijuana. Even though not enough research has been carried out to prove the effectivity of CBD on Mental health, people are still using it for quick relief.

According to a study, about 5 percent of people suffer from recurrent panic attacks. Depression is affecting most of the millennials. It has long-lasting effects on individuals and disturbs the social life and overall health. Medicines like Celexa and Lexapro may side effects like headaches, nausea, and issues with memory. CBD works to increase the number of happy hormones in the body. Increased level of serotonin leads to emotional stability and lifts mood. CBD has proven to be an anti-depressant when given to an animal model.

CBD is available in various forms, such as topicals, tinctures, oil, sprays, and capsules. CBD is non-addictive and safe to use. You can choose the type according to your health condition and its severity. However, it is recommended to consult a doctor before taking a dose of CBD and discuss your case with him/her in detail.
